This week saw the second official visit of Noel Long Litter Warden Supervisor Cork City Council. Councillor Garret Kelleher invited Noel, who is one of 5 Litter Wardens, to meet with Tom Butler and Pat Clarke of Ballincollig Tidy Towns.
At the meeting in the BTT Allotment Noel was brought up to speed on the way Ballincollig Tidy Towns do their work in relation to Litter Picks and Waste Management.
Noel has said that the Litter Section of City Council will be very active in Ballincollig and he looks forward to working with BTT, local businesses and schools, to maintain the high standards already achieved.
He advised that if people have concerns about illegal dumping, or information on people or businesses putting domestic waste in the litter bins, they should contact the Litter Free Phone on 1800222226
We look forward to working together to further enhance Ballincollig.
