On Tuesday evening we attended the Cork County Council 2019 Anti Litter Challenge Awards Ceremony in County Hall. Although Ballincollig is now part of the City judging had commenced when we were still in the County .
This Competition has been extremely successful and has made a huge difference in keeping Cork County’s litter under control.
Unfortunately, we were not in the prizes but we know that, going forward, our Community will maintain the standards that have been achieved to date.
However, congratulations must go to ROSEWOOD and WESTCLIFFE who achieved top marks of 100 points. Also congratulations go to CHURCH VIEW on achieving 96 points. Fantastic results.
Cork County Council have to be commended for organising this event and in doing so encouraging each community to get up and make a difference.
