The allotment is the hub of Ballincollig Tidy Towns activities and as we were concentrating on other projects, we had taken our eye off the ball. Two of our Volunteers offered adopt the Allotment and sort it out for us and in the space of two days the difference has been unbelievable for little or no cost.
Tesco Ballincollig contact us when they are disposing of plants that haven’t sold. This week it was no different and they were planted in our allotment. Our own leaf mulch was used in the planting.
