One of our Volunteers does an amazing job maintaining the litter at the Eastern Gate to the Regional Park. A bin was put there to stop people throwing coffee cups and other rubbish on the ground as they entered or left the Regional Park. Initially it worked very well but as can be seen from the photos, some people are abusing the facility. They are dumping domestic rubbish, including food and nappies, in and around the bin.
We have now taken a decision to remove this facility. in the hope that it will stop this situation.
TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN DOING THIS, KINDLY STOP!!
