As a result of all the wonderful hot weather this week, the first full night of watering was carried out. Although they travelled separately to adhere to social distancing, the “Two Pats” were back.
All the planters from Quish’s SuperValu West End through to and including Aldi, all the wooden planters on Main Street and both the flower beds on Station Road were watered.
Three and a half hours were spent watering. In total 2,200 litres or 2 1/4 tons of water were used. It was an excellent night’s work.
