Ballincollig St. Patrick’s Day Parade celebrated it’s Tenth Birthday yesterday with a large turnout of both participants and spectators. The theme for this year was ‘Celebration’ and, although the day was chilly, it remained dry. Many people of all ages enjoyed the colourful and energetic display laid on for their entertainment.
A large selection of Ballincollig’s local clubs took part in the Parade along with a varied selection of colourful and interesting displays. It is refreshing to see that throughout the years, the Parade has gone from strength to strength. Each year a dedicated team work tirelessly to make it a tremendous success.
