Over the years the Council arranged for Kerbs to be painted and it certainly made a difference. Poulavone was no exception. The roads are now controlled by Traffic Infrastructure Ireland. As the painting had not been done in a while, we undertook to paint the main traffic island.
Keeping to Health & Safety Regulations, two of our Volunteers undertook to clean down the kerbs and paint them. It has taken three nights and one morning and from the results so far it has all been worthwhile.
