The first of the pruning began this week. Some of the trees in The Old Square were pruned and given a tidy up. We intend replacing two trees in the coming weeks that were previously damaged in a storm. When the planned work is completed, it will add to the beauty of this lovely part of Ballincollig. Now that the weather is beginning to improve, Ballincollig Tidy Towns’ Volunteers will be in a position to get stuck in to the various projects they are hoping to complete this year. Several exciting things are in the pipeline in the coming months and,these together with all the usual seasonal planting, watering, painting, cleaning etc., will further enhance this wonderful town.
