Sometimes a person or group of people step forward and take the meaning of ‘Community Spirit’ to a whole new level. In Ballincollig VMWare are that group. Their employees give so much of their time and of themselves to help Ballincollig Tidy Towns throughout the year.
Their commitment and selflessness has meant that we have been able to complete several projects ahead of time and we in Tidy Towns are indebted to them.
Thank you to this fantastic group of volunteers who showed great patience and resilience to meticulously weed around the hydrangeas during a morning last week. Wherever they are and whatever tasks we give them, they take pride in working through each one and the results are always excellent . The message on their shirts probably says it best.
The amount of work that we had planed was surpassed 3 fold and the difference can be seen in the before and after photos.
