Last week saw another group of VMware Staff join us in Ballincollig Tidy Towns as part of their Service Learning Programme.
We decided to tackle a very busy road to enhance it’s appearance with a good Spring Clean. This was the road that runs from the Old Fort Road right down to The Powdermills entrance to the Regional Park. There is a large traffic volume along this road daily as people use it to access such places as the GAA Club and Pitches, The Community Nursing Unit, a Nursing Home, and an entrance to the Regional Park.
With the help of the VMware Staff the work was tackled and everyone worked along side each other in a dedicated manner in order to complete the work. Again, we are indebted to VMware for their continued support with our endeavours in Ballincollig Tidy Towns.
This week the CE/TUS Workers are busy along this road spreading Wildflower seeds. We hope this will bring much colour to the area.
